Asentis, on behalf of a management consultancy focused on procurement and supply chain mangement are looking for experienced Procurement Consultants.

Procurement Consultants are expected to drive the development of ambitious sourcing strategies and, working with relevant client staff and managers, to direct the implementation to achieve the targets.
Beyond the application of sourcing and procurement experience, this role requires the Consultant to demonstrate business acumen,leadership, situational and organisational awareness
and creativity.Whatever their level, all consultants are engaged in a wide variety of firm building activities, ranging from involvement in HR issues,capability development and business development.

This role will involve extensive european travel, sometimes at short notice, therefore passport holders falling under the schengen catchment would be advantaged, and you must speak another European language.

Experience:

• At least 2 - 3 years consulting experience within
a leading consultancy
• Significant experience within blue-chip organisations
• Proven experience managing own projects and small
project teams
• Analytically strong
• Solid functional knowledge in the areas of sourcing,
procurement transformation, SRM initiatives and
supply chain
• Strong record of achievement and rapid career
progression
• Excellent teaming with ability to lead and/or take
direction
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in complex
environments
• Demonstrated people management skills, including
coaching of both consultants and client staff
• Good facilitator


Education

• Excellent degree preferable in either Engineering,
Science, Business or Economics
• Ideally an MBA from a leading business school

Languages

• English plus at least fluency in another European
language preferably; German, French, Dutch,
a Nordic language, Spanish or Italian
